Senior Skin Specialist Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Therapist to join our team!

This full-time position is well suited to a candidate that is passionate about their career and helping people while looking to gain hands-on experience in a thriving, supportive and friendly environment.

We are looking for a person who has the following skills...

Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Beauty Therapist with experience across the board to include advanced skin therapies (see list below) and all beauty and maintenance treatments - waxing, nails (inc shellac), spray tans, lash lifts, brows. A minimum of 3 years in the industry is ideal but not essential.
- A sound understanding of skin science – professional skin knowledge and expertise. Further qualifications or training in advanced skincare are beneficial.
- A passion for skincare and getting the best results for your clients using the modalities available to you.
- Experience in advanced facial treatments & peels.
- Certified in Microneedling - ideally ‘Dermapen’.
- Certified in IPL Hair removal & Skin Rejuvenation - ideally previous experience with the ‘EFB Beaute Anthelia’ machine.
- A passion for retailing and providing your customers with the best homecare skin plan.
- A willingness to share your great results and information about treatments across our social media channels.
- Passionate about health and wellness.
- Motivated, Reliable, and Punctual.
- Exceptional customer service
- Great presentation.
- Warm and caring personality.
- Delivering 5-star treatments with the highest level of quality.
- Proven track record to establish long-term relationships with local clientele.
This role may require the successful candidate to work some evening shifts (we’re open 2 nights until 7pm) and Saturdays, however this can be discussed during the interview process.
Bonus Skills
- Training in skin consultations and analysis - ‘Observ’ Skin Imaging knowledge a bonus.
- Training in LED Light therapy
- Training in Microdermabrasion
- Further training in other fields (nutrition, injectables etc) is also a bonus, but not essential.
- Experience with business management, staff rosters, inventory and stock, running an online shop and marketing would be a bonus but not essential.
- Knowledge of O Cosmedics and DP Dermaceuticals skincare is a bonus
- Certified Massage Therapist a bonus

We are looking for a person who has the following skills...

Essential Requirements
- Recognised Diploma/Certificate in Beauty Therapy (National or International)
- Competent in all areas of beauty to include:
- Waxing
- Nails including shellac or gel
- Spray Tans
- Brows & Lashes
- Facials
- A minimum of 1 years experience in the beauty industry
- A passion for beauty therapy and customer service
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to think on your feet and work efficiently in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- The ability to successfully prescribe home care
- A warm, caring, friendly personality
- Previous spa experience highly regarded
- Drive & passion for offering 5 star customer service at all times
