New Rituals, Factory Tour and Natovi Village

When we heard that there was a Pure Fiji Conference being held in 2016 we jumped at the chance to attend. We got to learn from the best, the amazing trainer's from About Face Nz and of course ACTUAL Fijian ladies who have been trained for years in the most relaxing, therapeutic rituals. We got to experience the beautiful Denarau Spa where we had a Noni back ritual demonstrated for us and then luckily had the run of the Spa and got to try this phenomenal ritual on each other.
On day two we had an early start, meeting at 4.45am to catch a flight to the Fijian capital Suva. Here we were greeted by bus and treated to breakfast at the gorgeous Grand Pacific Hotel. Afterwards we continued on our way to the Pure Fiji factory for our factory tour. It was amazing to be so welcomed by the whole "packing" room team and serenaded with a traditional welcoming song and beautiful native flora garlands. We travelled about 1.5 hrs away from Suva to visit the catholic convent boarding school in Natovi where we met the kids and teachers from the village. It was such a moving, humbling experience to have a little insight into village life. It really made me proud to support Pure Fiji learning that the company donates a percentage of annual profits to struggling communities affected by natural or economical disasters.

Spa Denarau: This is a photo from one of the treatment rooms in the Pure Fiji Spa in Denarau. You can see some of the NZ ladies concentrating hard here as we learn the new techniques for the Noni Back Ritual. ( I was so jealous not to be on the bed at that point). This Ritual will definitely be making an appearance as a Christmas special this Summer.
The blend of cold pressed coconut, dilo, macadamia and sikeci nuts revered for their medicinal and beautifying properties contribute pure, unadulterated nourishment, moisturisation, nutrition and protection.

Pure Fiji involve as many communities as possible in the production of their items, and without this network of human interaction, they would be unable to survive and grow. Pure Fiji has set up a variety of community projects that encompass promoting rural community development and sustainable industries and business practices. Pure Fiji has funded student scholarships to aid children in these communities, and assists local craftsmen and women with business development and small business mentoring. We foster these environmentally stable business models through our village based projects such as the production of botanical extracts, paper-making and basket weaving.

Why LED face mask sessions are your new hero treatment and something you should be doing at home. A prefessional-grade facial at home and total skin rejuvenation in just 10 minutes a day; why this at-home LED face mask should be added to your PM routine and why LED light therapy was the fastest growning trend in 2020 and 2021! Research has proven that LED masks and devices can effectively treat a whole heap of skin concerns, but the results are cumulative, meaning you need to maintain a regular long-term routine and won't see results from a single session with us at the salon. Kind of like working out, you won't see results from one gym session a month! Read on to find out why our therapists believe that investing in your at-home skincare is the game-changer of 2021.
